Phác hoạ và an ninh hợp đồng thông minh

Movement
Movement is a modular framework for building and deploying Move-based infrastructure, applications, and blockchains in any distributed environment. The team is developing a suite of products and services that enable non-Move protocols to leverage the power of the Move programming language without writing a single line of Move code. Their first release, M1, reimagines L1 as a vertically composable and horizontally scalable Layer 1 framework that is compatible with Solidity, connects EVM and Move liquidity, and allows builders to customize modular and interoperable application chain out of the box with different user bases and liquidity.
Move is a programming language originally developed by the Facebook team in 2019 for their now-defunct Diem project. Move is designed to handle smart contracts and transaction data in a secure manner, eliminating attack vectors that are native to other languages, such as reentrancy attacks.
MoveVM serves as the native execution environment for Move-based blockchains, leveraging parallelization to provide faster transaction execution speeds and higher overall efficiency.
M1 and M2’s Core Flagship Technology
M2 will be the first Move Layer-2 on Ethereum. It will support Sui Move, Aptos Move, and our embedded EVM interpreter MEVM, enabling Sui, Aptos, and EVM users to utilize L2.
Shared Sequence Layer M1
M1 is the inaugural blockchain of the Movement ecosystem, powered by the Movement SDK. It is currently in its testnet phase, intended for testing and development purposes. M1 is a permissionless blockchain based on Move, operating as an Avalanche subnet.
M1 features a novel consensus protocol known as Snowman Consensus, an optimized consensus protocol for blockchains—high throughput and fully ordered, making it highly suitable for smart contracts. Snowman is a fully ordered implementation of the Avalanche consensus protocol. Both the Platform Chain (P-Chain) and the Contract Chain (C-Chain) have implemented the Snowman consensus protocol. With the upgrade of Cortina, the Transaction Chain (X-Chain) will also adopt Snowman consensus.
The M1 network is also compatible with the Aptos network, enabling rapid migration and deployment of Move ecosystem projects, as well as the development of a proprietary Move virtual machine and fractal architecture. As M1 operates on an Avalanche subnet, it employs a fractal expansion architecture called “Fractal.” This architectural pattern allows M1 to achieve horizontal scaling by decomposing itself into multiple similar but smaller subnetworks, referred to as “fractals.”
Each fractal subnet operates a complete M1 protocol stack, including consensus, execution, and data modules. These fractal subnets communicate and coordinate through an efficient message-passing layer. As the overall system load increases, new fractal subnets can be dynamically added to share the load.
The zk-Rollup aggregation layer M2 is a blockchain compatible with Layer 2 Sui, enabled by the Movement SDK. Once M1 has Sui compatibility, M2 will be repurposed. It is currently in its testnet phase, intended for testing and development purposes. M2 is a permissionless blockchain based on Move, currently operating as a Celestia rollup.
The M1 network is designed for the construction and operation of Layer 1 networks, serving as the foundation of the Layer 1 execution layer that relies on the Avalanche subnet. M2, on the other hand, is intended for the data execution layer of Layer 2 networks. This aligns with the same product design philosophy as zkSync, StarkNet, and the Ethereum ecosystem’s Rollup series of projects. Movement, being a Rollup project developed by Move, is easier to understand, and it also offers advantages and distinctive features not present in the Ethereum network, developed with the Move language.
Why choose Movement? Digital assets are becoming increasingly important in technology and financial structures. The Move programming language represents an innovative beacon in this context, offering a novel resource model that is expected to redefine digital asset management.
Differences in digital asset management between EVM and Move:
Firstly, the asset management method of EVM defines the blockchain asset standards and has indeed set a standard for the blockchain industry. Its method revolves around three key components: centralized asset logic, mutable state, and dynamic asset control. This framework has become synonymous with the development of a large number of diverse DApps, each leveraging the unique features provided by the Ethereum smart contract platform.
However, the breakthrough approach of EVM in supporting smart contracts and decentralized applications also brings unique challenges to managing digital assets. These challenges mainly stem from the architecture and operational mechanisms of EVM, affecting the security, integrity, and credibility of the assets managed within its ecosystem.
This is in stark contrast to the resource model of Move, which introduces a resource-centric approach to digital asset management. Unlike EVM’s reliance on centralized asset logic and mutable state, Move’s design is based on principles of security, safeguarding, and clear resource ownership. Resources in Move are treated as first-class citizens, with built-in protections against duplication and unauthorized access, ensuring that every asset has a clear owner at all times. By embedding strict ownership and immutability rules directly into the language’s type system, this approach essentially mitigates many of the security issues associated with EVM’s centralized logic and mutable state. The model is built on two fundamental pillars: linear ownership and immutable resources, which together aim to enhance the security and efficiency of blockchain technology.
In Move, resources are a special type of structure, defined as non-replicable and must be explicitly transferred between accounts. This design decision is crucial for maintaining the uniqueness of each asset and preventing common vulnerabilities such as unauthorized copying or loss. These resources are managed by strict type safety and access control mechanisms, enforced by Move’s virtual machine. Such architecture ensures that every operation on resources adheres to secure, predefined protocols.
The MoveVM’s novel model of parallelizing transactions marks a fundamental shift from traditional sequential processing to a model where transactions occur simultaneously, leveraging the power of modern multi-core processors. Parallelization greatly reduces transaction waiting times and enhances the energy efficiency of the network. At the heart of this approach is a fundamental transformation of the blockchain network, making it more scalable and efficient by allowing the simultaneous processing of multiple transactions. This not only overcomes long-standing issues of delays and high transaction fees but also heralds a new era of blockchain applications characterized by improved scalability and enhanced network performance.
The emergence of parallel execution and the development of platforms like MoveVM are at the forefront of pioneering a new era in blockchain technology, especially through innovative solutions like parallel execution enabled by MoveVM, which is not only more accessible and efficient but also supports a broader range of applications and services for the future, creating an environment conducive to innovation, growth, and widespread adoption.
Parallel execution fundamentally changes the blockchain landscape by introducing a mechanism that processes transactions simultaneously rather than in a linear sequence. Allowing for the simultaneous processing of more transactions effectively reduces waiting times and increases the network’s capacity. At the core of this approach is an advanced algorithm that coordinates the synchronized processing of transactions between various nodes within the blockchain network. This orchestration efficiently maintains the consistency and reliability of the blockchain, ensuring that transaction processing does not compromise the integrity of the network.
Parallel execution offers a range of enhancements to address long-standing inefficiencies and scalability issues. This approach introduces several key advantages.
Relieve network congestion: Alleviate traffic bottlenecks in the EVM memory pool.
Optimize hardware utilization: Maximize the efficiency of multi-core processors.
Enhanced scalability and speed: Accelerate transaction processing for DApps.
Improved system integrity: Ensure harmonious transactions and prevent conflicts.
Parallel execution effectively alleviates congestion within the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) memory pool by distributing transactions to be processed simultaneously across multiple nodes, especially during peak traffic periods. Leveraging the capabilities of modern multi-core processors, computational resources are optimized to reduce energy consumption and increase processing speed.
The enhanced scalability and speed brought about by parallel execution are also efficient for decentralized applications (DApps). The reduction in transaction delays allows DApps to operate more seamlessly, support a broader range of applications, and promote blockchain expansion to accommodate a growing user base without sacrificing performance.
Finally, parallel execution introduces complex protocols to manage and synchronize transaction processing, effectively preventing potential conflicts and ensuring the integrity of the blockchain. This transaction orchestration maintains the security and reliability of the network, and parallel execution signifies overcoming the challenges of traditional blockchain models, ensuring that the network can develop with high efficiency, scalability, and innovative technological innovation.
Fractals and Smart Contract Security
Fractal is an innovative framework that seamlessly connects Solidity and Move, two renowned smart contract languages. Fractal allows developers to deploy Solidity contracts into Move bytecode, enabling compatibility with Move chains while leveraging Move’s renowned security features.
The team behind Fractal, Movement Labs, is committed to enhancing Ethereum and other platforms using Move’s security capabilities. The launch of Fractal comes in the wake of losses exceeding $58.2 billion in assets due to hacker attacks in the DeFi sector, with bridge hacks alone accounting for $28.3 billion in losses. The diversity of attack vectors, with unknown methods accounting for 17.82% and other methods for 42.17%, highlights the significant need for Fractal’s security solutions.
Fractal utilizes the unique features of the Move language to address common vulnerabilities:
Reentrancy: By ensuring that resources are accessed uniquely, Move eliminates the typical path for reentrancy attacks.
Arithmetic Errors: Move’s arithmetic operations include automatic checks for overflow and underflow to prevent such errors.
Input Validation: Move’s type system and resource model enforce strict input checks, significantly enhancing security.
Fractal’s goal is to establish a runtime environment within the MoveVM to dynamically execute Solidity code, combining Solidity’s expressiveness with the execution robustness of MoveVM. Fractal represents not only a solution but also a paradigm shift to ensure the future of smart contracts.

MOVE is currently designated as a testnet token. It has the following attributes:
- Testnet Usage: MOVE is specifically used in the M1 testnet environment and has no value outside of this testing environment.
- No Monetary Value: The token is for testing purposes only and does not represent any real-world monetary value.
- No Future Value Proposition: Holding MOVE tokens does not grant you any ownership or distribution rights, nor does it guarantee future value or utility of the token in M1 or any other network.
- Limited Functionality: The functionality of MOVE is confined to what is permitted within the scope of the M1 testnet and may change as development progresses.
- Reset Risk: As part of the ongoing development and testing process, MOVE balances and transactions may be reset, altered, or cleared.
- Modification Rights: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the testnet and MOVE tokens at any time without notice and without any liability.
In summary, Movement is a comprehensive ecosystem that integrates various projects within the test network, focusing on the development and testing of the Move token within the MEVM environment. The token is designed for testing purposes and comes with specific limitations and risks associated with its use in the testnet.
To achieve this goal, Movement is developing a Move-based ZK-rollup hosted on Ethereum, leveraging its two main products: M1 and M2. M1 is a decentralized sorting layer that uses Snowman consensus, providing efficient and high sorting throughput. M2 offers several components necessary for the ZK-rollup execution stack. With M2, developers in Solidity and Move can deploy their contracts on the rollup, and users can enjoy high throughput and low fees due to the efficient proof generation algorithm and alternative data availability (DA) layer.
Movement is a zk-Rollup project independent of the Solidity language, with unique advantages and strengths on the language track. In the Move sector, there are currently only three projects: Aptos, Sui, and Movement. With Aptos and Sui performing exceptionally well, Movement may also be able to secure its place as the third star project in this track with its unique strengths.
